So you think you've got what it takes to be Airborne? Well if you're 16 or older, have no felony record, do not use controlled substances, can walk a mile and/or run 25 yards with 10 to 20 pounds of gear without getting winded, and have an interest in Military History, the Screaming Eagles is the group for you.

We are currently looking for new members to fall in with us. The group does 8- 12 events a year that include living histories, parades, public battles, and tactical engagements throughout the southeast United States.  Most of our events are based in Florida, but we do attend events in Georgia and Alabama.

Authenticity is key to our group and we strive the utmost to portray members of the US Airborne as accurately as possible both in uniform, military execution, and attitude. All members are expected to put together a basic uniform and gear ensemble representing the paratrooper uniform of Operation Overlord, aka D-Day Normandy (see our Requirements page for Basic Impression requirements). Reproduction uniforms and equipment can be purchased from a number of online sources (see our Links page for suggested vendors) and trade publications. We strongly suggest the use of new manufactured reproduction items but if one desires, vintage pieces may be used if in good working order.

This is a hobby first and foremost so we do understand family and work obligations, all we expect is for you to do your best and have a good time while doing it. We look forward to hearing from you!
